“Along with her keen-eyed skills, Marisa is a kind, intelligent, and principled human!”
―Pamela Polston, newspaper editor
I have been editing fiction and nonfiction for more than ten years, and I’m a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association. I have a BA in Comparative Languages and Linguistics from Earlham College, and my passion for editing springs from a fascination with language as a tool for self-expression, communication, and imagination.
I also like to hike mountains, write letters, play games, contra dance, bake decadent chocolate cakes, and organize stuff.
I live in Brattleboro, Vermont, with two helpful feline assistants.
